Miss Kathleen hardly has to remind us of our morning routine!  We come in; hang up our backpacks; return our books; color our picture; and then choose some morning work!

We finally got to spend some time on the playground today.  It was wonderful, but it felt nice to come back in to our nice cool classroom to get ready for centers.

At Miss Paula's center today we worked on our fine motor control by putting dots on a gingerbread man picture.  Most of us did a really good job of lining up the markers with the circles on the page.  At Miss Kathleen's center we practiced cutting and gluing.  We cut flower pictures out and then glued them onto a piece of paper.  At our rug center we played with cars in the garage and Little People in the house.  We had some good teamwork going on!

At the very end of the day we had a special snack to celebrate a birthday.  Fist we sang "Happy Birthday" and then we had a delicious cookie shaped like a crab!  Some of us even brought leftovers home in a baggie.
