We started our Morning Work as soon as we came inside. We built with unifix cubes, sang our Thanksgiving songs, worked with our manipulatives, practiced our cutting skills, and wrote on our chalkboards. Then we put our jackets back on and went out to the playground.
We came in from the playground and started our centers. At Miss Kathleen's center we painted with corn cobs and ears of corn. It was a little messy, but lots of fun! At the rug center we played with Jake and the Neverland Pirates LEGOS. We're really enjoying those! At Miss Paula's center we had our tangram shapes on a mirror, We made designs and looked at their mirror images. We also practiced our fine motor skills with weaving placemats.
We quickly cleaned up our centers and had Spanish with Senora Emily. You can watch a video of us singing a turkey song below.
