First Week of May
We had a busy week! We practiced our fine motor skills by stringing beads; had lots of fun with our water-beads (and made our own discovery bottle to bring home!); helped Miss Kathleen search for fire ants on the playground; painted with straws; acted with Littlest Pet Shop and puppets; played with Moon Sand and Moon Dough; and still found time to practice for Mother's Day!
Monday, April 24
This week we enjoyed building with our giant LEGOS. We're getting so good at teamwork! We also had a lot of fun on the playground. One of our favorite things was to find some green mulch and make a leprechaun trap!
In class we worked on our May placemats, painted butterflies, and worked on our May calendars. We also enjoyed playing with waterbeads--all week long! We continued to have fun with dramatic play using our pirates and babydolls at the rug center.
We had our last week of Music with Miss Becca and Spanish with Senora Emily. We will miss them over the summer!
Our Busy Week (April 19 & 21)
We practiced for our Mother's Day program.
We found a lizard on the playground and helped him get to safety.
We made a bear and beehive project.
We played with PlayDoh and seashells.
We enjoyed our pirates and baby dolls at the rug center.
We had some interesting sensory experiences with our water beads and sand sensory bin.
We learned to dance with partners during music with Miss Becca.
