After some time on the playground we came back in for centers. At Miss Kathleen's center we used our Halloween sand trays again. Besides working on fine-motor skills, we wrote letters, drew pictures, and made designs. At Miss Paula's center we made a witch broom! We practiced cutting on the lines, squeezing our bags around the stick handles--and even a little flying! At our rug center, we had another day of Littlest Pet Shop toys. There was a lot of talking and dramatic play going on with those little pets! We also added square blocks to our triangle blocks--that made building even more fun!
One of our friends had a birthday today so after we sang "Happy Birthday" we ate Halloween donuts and wore monster hats!
