We had plain old scrap paper at our coloring and cutting table today--and we loved it! We drew and colored and cut. Then we went over to our manipulatives table and UNIFIX cubes on the rug! After we cleaned up our Morning Work, we had Spanish with Senora Hillary. Today we learned some color words (rojo-red, azul-blue, amarillo-yellow, and verde-green) and we sang
Head and Shoulders, Knees, and Toes in Spanish! Our favorite word was cabeza for our head!
We were glad that the rain held off because we got to play outside for a little bit before centers. We came in and made our November placemats with Miss Paula, practiced our fine motor skills making bead necklaces with Miss Kathleen, and built with our wooden blocks and played with the Littlest Pet Shop on the rug. It was a fun day!
