Who built the Ark?
Brother Noah built the Ark!
We've been talking about October's Bible story--and playing with our arks and animals on the rug. Today we colored a picture of Noah and the Ark and listened to his song. Then we lined up to go outside! We had a great time on the playground and when we came in we saw Mr. Lizard hiding behind one of our apples on the tree!
We went right out to the front parking lot to see the fire fighters and their fire truck. One of them showed us how he put all of his gear on before going into a fire. He looked really different, but we weren't scared! When we walked around to the other side of the truck to get our picture taken, it was really loud. Some of us didn't like that! But then we got to squirt the fire hose! We loved that!
We really didn't have time for centers before Senora Hillary came for Spanish, so we got to play with some of our favorites at the rug and on the tables. We loved having Spanish today! We learned that our fingers were called dedos and our hands were manos--and then we used them to count to ten in Spanish!
