At our rug center this morning we continued our dramatic play with the dollhouse and did some building with the castle blocks. At Miss Kathleen's center we worked our finger muscles making crayon shavings with sharpeners, then counted to ten while the warm iron melted them for our suncatcher snowflakes. At Mrs. Hennessy's center we used markers to decorate some wooden door hangers and winter characters, then showed off how we're working on our names!
We reviewed three important rules before going out to the playground:
- Stay off the fence.
- Leave the mulch on the ground in the play area.
- Slide DOWN the slides on your BOTTOM!
Then we went out to play!
