We started a unit on winter--and since Savannah weather might not cooperate, we'll be making paper snowballs and snowmen, playing in cottonball snow, and using a snowcone machine to make our own version of snow! We did take some snowman pictures for our January placemats--and we had lots of giggles while trying on the snowman hat!
We also had our centers today. We played with bristle blocks and Little People at our rug center; added some glittery snow to our snowman placemats with Mrs. Hennessy; and listened to a Winter Wonderland story at Miss Kathleen's center. After all that work we went outside and played!
