After coming in from the cold of carpool, we did some quick morning work and calendar time and then started centers.  At one of our centers we finished working on our cut and paste mosaic snowflakes.  By the time most of us had enough little shapes cut out and glued down, we were tired--and silly--so Mrs. Hennessey helped cut out the big snowflake shapes for us. 

We also got to have our kitchen and dress up clothes out on our rug center.  Some of us "made food for a picnic" and got dressed up to sit down and eat!

Our last center was easel painting again.  Today we used tempera paints in shades of blue, purple and white.  We did a lot of mixing and experimenting with our colors and practiced some different techniques.  Now we have an art gallery of our paintings on our back curtain!
