What an exciting day: a beautiful time on the playground; some great music with Miss Jenna; exciting centers--including pumpkin carving; and a special Halloween healthy snack!
Learning independence by practicing putting on our own coats
Lots of running on the playground today
We love the fire truck!
Getting ready for rhythm sticks
At Miss Kathleen's center we had some spooky Halloween jewels on our light box and sifted through the corn and beans in our sensory bin to find fall treasures. At our rug center, we had our last day of our fire station. Today we had our building ladders there too, and we used them to help the firefighters rescue people! Miss Paula had some help from one of our dads at her center. We helped him carve three pumpkins into jack-o-lanterns. We scooped out the pulp, examined the seeds, and even smelled the insides of the pumpkin! (Most of us thought it smelled like cheese!)
