We had some old activities in new places and some new activities in old places for our Morning Work today. Everyone was busy!
At our rug center we continued our dramatic play with our baby dolls. We also continued working on fine motor and life skills while we manipulated the doll clothes and accessories. Our big LEGOS also got a lot of use--there were garages built and ships being sailed and lots of interesting conversations!
At Mrs. Hennessy's center we first played BINGO--and we did a great job at following directions. Then we colored a St. Patrick's Day picture and continued following directions by choosing certain colors for our rainbows.
At Miss Kathleen's center we used some new builders/manipulatives that she brought back from her trip. Even though they don't make ELLOS any more, she found some in her niece's closet! We really like them! While we explored these, Miss Kathleen did some testing on our names and letters.
Finally it was time for us to go outside and enjoy the sunshine! That's always a fun part of our day!
