We added some glue sticks to our coloring and cutting Morning Work table--and there was a crowd! Many of the kids made crosses to bring home. We also had some new magnetics at our manipulative table and a giant jumble of lids and bottles on the rug.
We had our last day of cars and baby dolls at our rug center. Stay tuned to see our new rug centers--starting Wednesday! We looked at Viewmasters at Miss Kathleen's center. For a lot of us this was the first time we'd seen a Viewmaster--we asked if we could do this again soon! At Mrs. Hennessy's center, we read a Clifford magazine about St. Patrick's Day, then we used dry erase markers to trace all of the colors of the rainbow. We also used our mini-whiteboards while we waited for all of our friends to finish.
Once again our sandbox proved a popular gathering place when we went outside! We also had some dancers who skipped and sang and played Ring-Around-The-Rosie. It was a beautiful day!
