We were really busy today getting our class picture taken, playing on the playground, and having centers. At Miss Paula's center we stamped butterflies for our May placemats then played with Potato Heads while we waited for our friends to finish. At Miss Kathleen's center we started working on a surprise for our Mother's Day program--and we played with our Crystal Climbers. At our rug center we played office. We had a lot of fun with that. Miss Kathleen made sure to get a picture of us using all of the phones to "take pictures"--including the old-fashioned rotary landline phones! (It took a minute to figure out why the kids were all holding these phones up to their eyes!)

We had a surprise when we got to the classroom this morning--Miss Kathleen rearranged the furniture over break! We had new cubbies and new shelves! As one of us said, "This doesn't even look like my home any more!"
