At our rug center, we added some writing activities to our office. We took turns writing on the chalkboard, making notes, typing on keyboards, and answering our phones.
At Mrs. Hennessy's center, we started our poinsettias. First we colored coffee filters with lots of red marker, then we dripped water on them to spread the marker all around. We'll finish them on Wednesday after they dry. While we waited for our friends to finish we decorated our number Christmas trees with pompoms.
We had a Christmas center with Miss Kathleen. We talked about the Christmas story and played with our nativity scene, using lots of new words like manger and incense. We also decorated (and undecorated) our Christmas tree.
Finally we headed outside to the playground! Along the way, we noticed that we had some friends who looked really Christmasy!
