Wednesday, September 5

We learned a lot today. We played hard and worked just as hard.  The children did an excellent job of following directions and learning routines.  We had a couple of tired boys and girls who just wanted to lay on the rug after snack instead of singing along with everyone else.  Ask your child about our silly snack today...we had plates you can eat (mini-tortillas) with raisins and cheese!  It was a surprising hit!

We learned that dancing at school is fun...

even when there's no music!

We learned how to play at our morning work...
and build with our friends.
We practiced the Pledge of Allegiance....

with our hands over our hearts.

We stood in a straight line on the blocks after our bathroom break.

We painted with foam pieces...

and made our gingerbread placemats for September.

We played in the kitchen--and then cleaned up all our centers...

and held onto our caterpillar rope to go outside.

We rode bikes...
and climbed on boats...

and knocked on doors.

We raced our friends...

and steered some ships...

and got all tired out!

After snack we all got our picture taken with the gingerbread man!
