We had a silly, mixed-up day today because it was Bike Day!  First we did our morning work.  We had lots of cutting practice today, so check to see if there's a baggie full of scraps in your child's backpack!  We also used all of our mosaic tiles to fill up our design board.  It took a while, but we were proud of the result!  We also worked our puzzles and sorted our pompoms.

After we reviewed our bike safety rules, we collected our bikes and made our way to the front parking lot.  As you can see by the pictures below, we did a lot of bike riding!  We also had some good traffic helpers who held up our green for go while hiding our yellow and red so no one got confused about what to do!

We were hot and tired--and a little hungry--when we came in, so we had a little snack to get us through centers.  At our centers we used our fingerprints to make flowers on our April placemats; we read a magazine about Clifford; and we played on the rug with our puppets, legos, and office equipment.

Our last excitement on this silly day was a special birthday snack.  If you saw some blue icing on faces at carpool, it was from the delicious shark cupcakes that we ate!
