Because we had music with Miss Caitlin, our day was backward and we didn't have our centers until after our snack. We worked on a snowman picture with Mrs. Hennessy. We used cotton balls, pipe cleaners, and snow sprinkles. When we finished our project we built with our ladders until it was time to change. We played a Maisy game with Miss Kathleen. We had to take turns spinning the spinner and then picking the matching pieces for our game board. At our rug center we had some giant building blocks and our Barbies/GI Joes.
We had one more exciting thing to do before going home. We had to make our snowman. We started him/her earlier in the week, but didn't have a chance to finish until today. We took turns making "snowballs" (squishing newspaper into balls) and throwing them into Miss Kathleen's trashbag. Then we stacked three bags, added our hat and scarf, eyes/nose/mouth, and some buttons--and he was finished! See how happy he looks sitting on the rug with us!
