Monday, April 10

After our Morning Work and some time on the playground, we came in and started our centers.  We had our last day of Little People at the rug center.  We have really enjoyed that center!  At Miss Paula's center, we made a sweet treat for our Easter party on Wednesday.  We can't wait to eat our cookie sandwiches! While we were waiting for our friends to finish, we had fun in the Easter sensory tub.  At Miss Kathleen's center we played with shaving cream and Easter eggs.  It was messy but fun!

After we cleaned up centers, we had Spanish with Senora Emily.  We always have fun in Spanish! 

Friday, April 8

We started off our day by putting on the bunny ears and noses that we made earlier this week and hopping outside for a picture!

After some time on the playground we came in and started centers.  At Miss Kathleen's center we worked on a special project for next month and played in the Easter sensory bin.  At the rug center we continued to enjoy all of our Little People toys.  At Miss Paula's center we worked on putting together an Easter collage with our art projects.

After we cleaned up our centers, Miss Becca came in for music.  We sang some really fun songs--and we got to row with partners when we sang "Michael, Row the Boat Ashore" at the end of class! 

Wednesday, April 5

We had some excitement while we were on the playground today.  A big truck came and dumped a load of mulch by the parking lot!

We came in and started centers.  We had another day of Little People tubs on the rug. At Miss Kathleen's center we made some beautiful Easter eggs using liquid watercolors and eye droppers.  At Miss Paula's center, we were really busy!  We made bunny ears and a bunny nose.  We'll bring those home on Friday.

 

Monday, April 3

We had our pictures taken today.  Miss Lesley walked us out to the garden and we all smiled and said, "Cheese!"  We can't wait to see how it turned out!  We stayed otuside on the playground for a little while then we came in and had centers.

At Miss Paula's center we played Easter BINGO with jellybeans!  After we finished, we ate them!  At Miss Kathleen's center we started working on our Easter Bunny ears, then we played with some new DUPLO blocks.  At the rug center we had another day of playing with our Little People tubs.  We're really enjoying that.

After we cleaned up our centers we had Spanish with Senora Emily. We practiced saying our Spanish "Good Manners" words like gracias, por favor, and de nada!

Friday, March 31

We went outside for Miss Kathleen's center!  We colored on the pavement with chalk, got our pictures taken for our April placemats, and went for a walk looking for bunnies and Easter eggs!  When we came back inside, we played in the sensory bin while we waited for our friends to finish.

At Miss Paula's center we painted eggs!  We used our brushes to add color to some beautiful paper Easter eggs.

At the rug center we had a great time with all of our Little People toys.  We especially like the vehicles! 

Bike Day

We rode our bikes and trikes and scooters, ate some popsicles that turned our tongues colors, had fun centers, and ate a special snack!  What a great day!
