Monday, November 9

We helped a friend carry down some donation for our Second Harvest food drive before we had Spanish with Senora Hillary.  Senora did a lot of fun things with us--and we practiced a lot of our words and songs.  (Check backpacks for a copy of some of our lesson!)

At Miss Kathleen's center, we finished up our turkeys from last week (and then had them talking and flying!)  We also made some sticker pictures.  We really worked our finger muscles and practiced some fine motor skills doing this--and it was fun!

At Miss Paula's center we played Thanksgiving BINGO.  We talked about some of the different symbols we see at Thanksgiving and practiced our listening and visual discrimination skills.

At our rug center we played with the Little People farm set.  We thought it was funny to put some of the farm animals on the school bus!  Some of us also built some tall towers with our square and silly-shape blocks.

Pumpkin Patch

We had a great time at the pumpkin patch today!

We listened to a story about some mice with a giant pumpkin.

We played games with a parachute.

We made ghosts out of a lollipop and got our faces painted.

We ate a delicious lunch.

We played on the playground.

We had fun!

Happy Halloween!

Thank you to everyone who helped make our day so much fun!

Miss Lisa's 2s came by to show off their costumes.  We thought they looked really good!

We walked over to Summer Breeze to visit our friends there.  We trick-or-treated then sang our Halloween songs for them.

We came back to our classroom, sang our songs for our guests, then had a wonderful Halloween party!

Happy Halloween!
