Wednesday, May 6
We started our morning by practicing for our Mother's Day program. We did a pretty good job on ALL of our songs!
At Miss Paula's center we worked with a lot of different kinds of manipulatives. At Miss Kathleen's center we finished up our Mother's Day presents and then helped Miss Kathleen clean out some of our old nametags.
Next we spent a little bit of time on the playground, then we came in for centers. We've loved making music at our rug center! It's been a little bit loud, but nobody seems to mind!

Monday, May 4
We had another silly day today! We started out going over to church to practice for our Mother's Day program. We can't wait to sing our songs for our mommies!
Then we went right out onto the playground. We did a lot of running around and playing with our friends. We were so hungry when we finished that we came into the classroom and had snack.
After snack it was time for centers. We had our Jake and the Neverland Pirates LEGOS at our rug center--and some musical instruments. Some of us played guitars and tambourines and sang. (Miss Kathleen somehow missed recording any of this! She'll try to do better on Wednesday!) At Miss Paula's center we made pretend cookies and built with ELLOS. At Miss Kathleen's center we worked on one of our Mother's Day presents and played with the lightbox. It was a fun day!
Friday, May 1
We started off our day caring about others! We carried down some shampoo, conditioner, and soap to donate to the Tybee Tyde Food Pantry.
We went outside to enjoy the beautiful weather and then came back inside for centers. At Miss Kathleen's center we had our light box (with some caterpillars, flowers, and butterflies) and big kids' puzzles. At Miss Paula's center we worked with our geoboards. We made lots of different shapes--and even some letters! We had our last day of playing restaurant at the rug center. We only have three more center days left in this school year--and we'll have a different rug center for those.
Monday, April 27
What a silly day we had today! First we went over to the Sanctuary to practice for our Mother's Day program. We are doing such a good job on our songs! We went right out to the playground when we finished and had lots of fun. When we came inside, we had snack right away! The day just kept getting sillier!
The last thing we did was centers. At the rug center we had our wooden blocks and our kid blocks. At Miss Paula's center we made cookies and laced shapes. At Miss Kathleen's center we worked our fingers with Pop-It beads and played in our spring sensory bin.
