Monday, April 18
What an exciting day! We started off with Spanish with Senora Hillary, followed by some playground time, centers, and a ride on a horse and buggy!
Friday, April 15
We took our pet food down to the table to share animals who need help. We also added stickers to our counting page.
After our time on the playground, we came in for centers. At our rug center, we had guitars to play (and sing along with) and our whole box of horses for acting out stories! We were excited! Miss Paula wasn't here today so Miss Meredith helped out at her center. We played ice cream and pizza shop! At Miss Kathleen's center we worked a little on our Mother's Day project then used the lightbox.
Wednesday, April 14
The tables were a popular spot during Morning Work today!
After a great time out on the playground, we came back in to start centers. At Miss Paula's center we played with an ice cream sensory bin (It wasn't REAL ice cream, but we pretended!) and made felt sandwiches. At the rug center we had our last day of playing with our Little People stations. At Miss Kathleen's center we made our snack. We spread peanut butter on crackers, added raisins and a squirt of chocolate syrup, then pressed on the top cracker. It was great practice in following directions and refining motor skills--and it was all delicious!
Monday, April 11
We started our day with Spanish with Senora Hillary. Ask us to sing our name song! We practiced saying, "Me llamo XXXX."
After some time out on the playground, we came in and started centers. At Miss Kathleen's center we finished making our butterflies and played butterfly and dinosaurs dominoes. At Miss Paula's center we played board games, We had the choice of Chutes and Ladders or the Maisy Game. At our rug center we continued our dramatic play with the Little People stations. We had so many things to choose from.

Monday, April 4
We started our day getting our class photo taken outside. We looked good and we all smiled and said, "Cheese!" Then we came inside and had Spanish with Senora. We practiced our songs about animales and colores.
After our outside break, we came back and got ready for centers. At Miss Paula's center we worked on a Mother's Day surprise and made designs on our Geoboards. At Miss Kathleen's center we had one last day with our Magnatiles before we have to return them to Miss Jessie. At the rug center we had Little People stations. We had some new characters and settings to explore!
Friday, April 1
We started our day with Senora Hillary! We sang "Hola Amigo" with finger puppets and practiced our fine motor skills while flipping pages in our color book--and singing the Spanish color names.
After a short break out on the playground, we came back in for centers. At Miss Paula's center we started working on a Mother's Day surprise--and played a little more in the Spring sensory bin. At Miss Kathleen's center we built with Magformers while she checked us on our letters and numbers. At the rug center we had our Little People stations. The castle was a favorite again today!
