We had a silly, mixed-up day today!  First we went outside, then we came back in and had centers.  At Miss Paula's center we read magazines--and got to take them home.  Here we are making fish faces while reading a fish magazine.  At Miss Kathleen's center we worked on some special gifts.  At our rug center we continued our dramatic play with our horses and big bricks

After we cleaned up our centers we started our snack. but we stopped in the middle and had Spanish with Senora Hillary!  We sang lots of silly songs--including Mary Had A Little Lamb in Spanish!  When we finished we went back to eat our snack.  We were hungry after all that singing!

Wednesday, April 27

We started our day by donating some money to Coastal Pet Rescue.  We loved putting our change into the Kitty Cat bank.  Every time it meowed, we laughed!
Then we looked at a bird's nest that one of our friends brought in.  It was really cool.  We noticed that there were a lot of pine needles in it and some shiny bits too!

Next we went out to the playground.  We had a dance party, ran around a lot, and played puppies and princesses!

When we came inside we had centers.  At our rug center we build barns and stables for our horses with our big cardboard bricks.  At Miss Kathleen's center we worked on some projects for our mommies and daddies.  At Miss Paula's center we worked our hand and finger muscles making all sorts of designs with PopBeads.

Monday, April 25

We started our day at the Sanctuary practicing for next week's Mother's Day program.  We did a great job following directions and singing!

After a little time on the playground we came into the room to start centers.  At Miss Kathleen's center we worked on a Mother's Day surprise then made sticker bookmarks. At Miss Paula's center we finished our May placemats.  They look beautiful!  At the rug center we had our box of horses and our big bricks.  We built some cool stuff!

Wednesday, April 20

At Miss Kathleen's center we reviewed some tips for drawing people, then worked on something special for Mother's Day.  At our rug center we had our guitars and horses again.  Some of us were really rocking out today!  Miss Paula helped us paint our placemats for May.  We're going to turn them into beautiful flower gardens!

Monday, April 18

What an exciting day!  We started off with Spanish with Senora Hillary, followed by some playground time, centers, and a ride on a horse and buggy!

Friday, April 15

We took our pet food down to the table to share animals who need help.  We also added stickers to our counting page.

After our time on the playground, we came in for centers.  At our rug center, we had guitars to play (and sing along with) and our whole box of horses for acting out stories!  We were excited!  Miss Paula wasn't here today so Miss Meredith helped out at her center.  We played ice cream and pizza shop!  At Miss Kathleen's center we worked a little on our Mother's Day project then used the lightbox.

Wednesday, April 14

The tables were a popular spot during Morning Work today!

After a great time out on the playground, we came back in to start centers.  At Miss Paula's center we played with an ice cream sensory bin (It wasn't REAL ice cream, but we pretended!) and made felt sandwiches.  At the rug center we had our last day of playing with our Little People stations.  At Miss Kathleen's center we made our snack.  We spread peanut butter on crackers, added raisins and a squirt of chocolate syrup, then pressed on the top cracker. It was great practice in following directions and refining motor skills--and it was all delicious!
