We had such a great day at our end-of-the-year picnic. Thank you to all of you who shared this year with Mrs. Hennessy and Miss Kathleen.

Wednesday, May 8
We started our day by going outside while it was still nice and cool. We had a lot of fun on the playground--some of that was watching the 4s during their water day!
We tried a new (and easy!) center today. Our restaurant! We talked about customers, waiters, waitresses, chefs, waiting for a table, ordering, paying the bill--and then we played restaurant! At Mrs. Hennessy's center we made sticker pictures and played in our garden sensory bin. We sorted our placemats with Miss Kathleen. We'll bring those home soon!

We had a special snack today to help our friend celebrate her birthday! Delicious cupcakes!
Monday, May 6
We had another silly, mixed-up day today. First we practiced our songs for the Mother's Day program, then we went outside, then we had centers! We're excited about everything that's going on during these last few days of school!

Friday, May 3
We had a really silly day today! We started by going over to the Sanctuary to practice for our Mother's Day program. We did a great job! When we came back it was almost time for music with Miss Megan so we did our Morning Work for a few minutes until Miss Megan came. Next we went outside and then came in to celebrate a birthday. We had some delicious cupcakes after singing Happy Birthday! We were so busy we didn't even have time for centers!
Monday, April 29
We started our day outside--and since we were the only class out there we were a little silly. We all play together so nicely when it's just our class outside!
We came in and went right to our centers. At Mrs. Hennessy's center we worked on our Mother's Day present and then we played in our "garden" tub. We read our Ottawa Farm book about strawberries with Miss Kathleen and practiced some writing. We played with our garage and our Littlest Pet Shop at the rug center.
